Yards, barns and bins
Wiring for the buildings and animals around the water
Barns are dusty and damp, tanks sit where animals drink, and bins run hardest when you're busiest. We wire them for that.
When to call
A tank heater trips on cold mornings
Fans in the barn run slow, or hum
A bin fan or auger won't start at harvest
You're adding a shop or a hay shed
The yard light's on a failing pole circuit
You want an inlet for a generator

What we do
Six jobs, done for rough use
Barn ventilation and lighting
Fans, controls and lights rated for damp, dusty rooms, and circuits sized for what runs at once.
Heated tanks
A circuit with GFCI protection at the tank, so a cracked cord trips the circuit instead of the animals feeling it.
Windmill replacement
Move from a windmill to an electric pump, with the wiring and controls it needs.
Bins and dryers
Fans, augers and dryer controls on circuits that will carry them in October.
Shops and sheds
A new panel, outlets where you'll use them, and lights you can see by.
Standby power
An inlet or a transfer switch, so a generator can run the well, the heat or the barn when the line is down.
Seasonal
Calving, harvest, and the cold mornings in between
Barns want attention before calving, bins before harvest, and tanks before the first hard freeze. We keep a short winter list for each ranch, so the work lands in the quiet weeks and not the busy ones.

Questions about barns, tanks and bins
Do you wire livestock buildings differently?
Yes. Moisture, dust and animals change the boxes, the fittings and where outlets go. We use what suits the room.
Can you wire a generator inlet for the well?
Yes. We size it to the pump, say what generator it needs, and put the inlet where it's easy to reach from outside.
Do you sell generators?
No. We wire the inlet or transfer switch and tell you what size to look for.
